Pastor Troy

Micah LeVar Troy, born on November 18, 1977, is widely recognized in the American rap scene as Pastor Troy. Hailing from Augusta, Georgia, he has made a significant impact with his unique style and powerful lyrics.

Pastor Troy gained mainstream attention with his hit single "Are We Cuttin'" featuring Ms. Jade, which made its way onto the Billboard Hot 100 in two thousand two. This track was part of his sixth studio album, Universal Soldier, which peaked at number thirteen on the Billboard 200 chart.

Prior to this success, he signed with Universal Records and released his fourth album, Face Off, in two thousand one. This marked his major label debut and helped solidify his presence in the hip hop industry. His seventh album, By Any Means Necessary, released in two thousand four, was his final project with the label.

In addition to his solo endeavors, Pastor Troy is also known as the lead member of the Southern hip hop group D.S.G.B. (Down South Georgia Boyz), further showcasing his versatility and influence in the genre.
