He is best known for his pivotal role in creating the Assassin's Creed series, where he served as the creative director for the original Assassin's Creed, its sequel Assassin's Creed II, and the critically acclaimed Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

In addition to his work on Assassin's Creed, Désilets made a significant impact as the director of Ubisoft's Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, a title that redefined action-adventure gaming.
