Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Patrick Manning

Patrick Manning, born on August seventeenth, nineteen forty-six, was a prominent Trinidadian politician and geologist. He made significant contributions to the political landscape of Trinidad and Tobago, serving as the fourth Prime Minister on two occasions: first from nineteen ninety-one to nineteen ninety-five, and again from two thousand one to two thousand ten.

A native of San Fernando, Manning's educational journey began at Presentation College, followed by a bachelor's degree from the University of the West Indies at Mona in nineteen sixty-nine. After completing his studies, he returned to Trinidad, where he embarked on a career as a geologist with Texaco.

His political career commenced in nineteen seventy-one when he became the Member of Parliament for the San Fernando East constituency, a position he held until two thousand fifteen. During this time, he became the longest-serving member of the House of Representatives. Manning also held the role of Leader of the Opposition from nineteen eighty-six to nineteen ninety and again from nineteen ninety-five to two thousand one.

In two thousand fifteen, Manning was succeeded by Randall Mitchell, but the San Fernando East seat was later won by his son, Brian Manning, in two thousand twenty. His legacy in Trinidad and Tobago's politics remains influential, reflecting his dedication to public service and governance.
