Paul L. Gagné, born on February 6, 1962, was a distinguished Canadian professional ice hockey player whose career spanned several notable teams in the National Hockey League. Over the course of his career, he played a total of three hundred and ninety games, showcasing his skills with the Colorado Rockies, New Jersey Devils, Toronto Maple Leafs, and New York Islanders.

After his playing days, Gagné transitioned into coaching, taking the helm of the Timmins Rock in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League. His leadership and expertise guided the team until his retirement following the 2016–17 season, leaving a lasting impact on the players and the community.

In addition to his coaching role, Gagné was dedicated to nurturing the next generation of hockey talent. He ran a hockey development camp every summer in Timmins, Ontario, known as Gagné Hockey Development, where he shared his knowledge and passion for the sport with aspiring young athletes.
