Paul Goldschmidt, born on September tenth, nineteen eighty-seven, is a prominent American professional baseball first baseman currently playing for the New York Yankees in Major League Baseball (MLB). His journey in baseball began at The Woodlands High School in Texas, where he was lightly recruited before moving on to play for the Texas State Bobcats. Goldschmidt's talent was recognized when he was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the eighth round of the two thousand nine MLB draft.
