Paul Sarossy

Paul Sarossy, born on April twenty-fourth, nineteen sixty-three, is a distinguished Canadian cinematographer and film director, renowned for his artistic collaborations with acclaimed director Atom Egoyan. Over the years, Sarossy has served as the director of photography on fourteen feature films, including notable works such as Speaking Parts, The Sweet Hereafter, and Exotica. His visual storytelling has significantly shaped the landscape of Canadian cinema.

Throughout his illustrious career, Sarossy has garnered numerous accolades, including five Genie Awards for Best Achievement in Cinematography, a Gemini Award, and five awards from the Canadian Society of Cinematographers. His talent has also earned him nominations for prestigious honors such as the Primetime Emmy Award and the Independent Spirit Award, showcasing his impact on the film industry.

In two thousand one, Sarossy made his directorial debut with the British crime drama Mr In-Between, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and received a general release in Britain in two thousand three.
