Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Paul Young

Paul Young, born on January seventeenth, nineteen fifty-six, is a celebrated English musician, singer, and songwriter. He first gained prominence as the frontman of several short-lived bands, including Kat Kool & the Kool Cats, Streetband, and Q-Tips. However, it was in the 1980s that he truly became a teen idol, achieving remarkable solo success with a string of hit singles.

His notable tracks, such as 'Love of the Common People', 'Wherever I Lay My Hat', 'Come Back and Stay', 'Every Time You Go Away', and 'Everything Must Change', all soared into the top ten of the UK Singles Chart. Young's debut album, 'No Parlez', released in nineteen eighty-three, marked the beginning of his ascent, becoming the first of three UK number-one albums.

With a smooth yet soulful voice that epitomizes the genre known as 'blue-eyed soul', Young's talent has been recognized with numerous accolades. He won a Brit Award for Best British Male in nineteen eighty-five, and his hit 'Every Time You Go Away' not only topped the Billboard Hot 100 but also won Best British Video at the nineteen eighty-six Brit Awards.

Young's contributions to music extend beyond his solo career. He participated in the iconic charity single 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' in nineteen eighty-four, where he sang the opening lines. He also performed at the historic Live Aid concert in July nineteen eighty-five and sang 'Don't Dream It's Over' at the Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Tribute in nineteen eighty-eight. In nineteen ninety-two, he shared the stage with the surviving members of Queen at The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, performing 'Radio Ga Ga'. Since the mid-nineteen nineties, Young has been actively performing with the band Los Pacaminos.
