Pauline Lapointe

Pauline Lapointe, born on May twelfth, nineteen fifty, in Chicoutimi, Quebec, was a talented Canadian actress and singer. She gained recognition for her remarkable performance in the 1993 film La Florida, which earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the fourteenth Genie Awards.

As the twin sister of fellow actress Louise Portal, Pauline's artistic journey began with music. She released two pop albums, Pauline Lapointe in nineteen eighty and Je dis oui in nineteen eighty-three, before shifting her focus primarily to acting.

Throughout her career, she appeared in several notable films, including The Handyman (L'Homme à tout faire), Sonatine, The Alley Cat (Le Matou), Cruising Bar, The Ideal Man (L'Homme idéal), and It's Your Turn, Laura Cadieux (C'est à ton tour, Laura Cadieux). Her television credits featured popular series such as Watatatow, L'Obsession, and Emma.

Sadly, Pauline Lapointe passed away in two thousand ten after a battle with breast cancer, leaving behind a legacy of memorable performances and contributions to the arts.
