Pavel Cebanu

Pavel Cebanu, born on March twenty-eighth, nineteen fifty-five, is a distinguished former Moldovan football player and coach, renowned for his contributions to the sport. He dedicated his entire playing career to Nistru Chişinău, where he showcased his skills as a midfielder from nineteen seventy-three to nineteen eighty-five. Over the course of his career, he played in three hundred seventy-two matches, netting forty-six goals, and earned the respect of his peers as a long-serving captain.

Beyond his playing days, Cebanu made significant strides in football administration. He served as the president of the Football Federation of Moldova for an impressive twenty-two years, from nineteen ninety-seven until two thousand nineteen. His leadership helped shape the future of Moldovan football, and he was succeeded by Leonid Oleinicenco.
