Peder Fredricson

Peder Fredricson, born on January 30, 1972, in Flen, Södermanland, is a distinguished Swedish equestrian renowned for his exceptional skills in show jumping and event riding. His illustrious career is highlighted by his remarkable achievements at the Olympic Games, where he has secured a total of four medals, including one gold and three silvers.

Fredricson's Olympic journey began in 1992 when he competed in eventing at the Summer Olympics in Barcelona. His first taste of Olympic success came in 2004 at the Athens Games, where he earned a silver medal in team jumping. He continued to excel, winning another silver in individual jumping at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, followed by a gold medal in team jumping and a silver in individual jumping at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

In the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games, Fredricson, alongside his horse H&M All In, triumphed in team jumping, clinching the gold medal with fellow riders Malin Baryard-Johnsson and Henrik von Eckermann. His individual performance also earned him a silver medal, further solidifying his status as one of the top equestrians in the world.

Among his impressive roster of horses, Fredricson has partnered with notable equines such as H&M Christian K, Catch me Not S, Jumper d’Oase, and Thelma Hästak. His contributions to the sport have not gone unnoticed, as he was honored with the Jerring Award in both 2016 and 2017, recognizing his outstanding achievements in equestrian sports.
