Periklis Iakovakis

Periklis Iakovakis, born on March 24, 1979, is a distinguished retired Greek athlete renowned for his prowess in the 400 metres hurdles. With a remarkable career that includes setting the Greek record at an impressive time of 47.82 seconds, he has established himself as a dominant force in the sport.

Throughout his athletic journey, Iakovakis has showcased his talent on the world stage, competing in four Summer Olympics from 2000 to 2012. His dedication and skill have also led him to participate in six World Championships in Athletics, where he earned a bronze medal in 2003, further solidifying his status as one of Greece's top athletes.
