Përparim Hetemaj

Përparim Hetemaj, born on December twelfth, nineteen eighty-six, is a distinguished Finnish football coach and former professional footballer, celebrated for his role as a midfielder. His journey began in Kosovo, where he was born, before moving to Finland at the tender age of six. Hetemaj's football career took off with HJK's youth teams, leading to a professional contract at the age of seventeen in two thousand four.

In two thousand six, he made a significant move to Greece, joining AEK Athens, before transitioning to FC Twente in two thousand nine. His career continued to flourish as he signed with Brescia in two thousand ten, followed by a transfer to Chievo in two thousand eleven. Over the course of his career, Hetemaj made an impressive total of three hundred appearances in Serie A, showcasing his talent and dedication to the sport.

Hetemaj's international career with Finland began in February two thousand nine, when he made his debut at the age of twenty-two. He went on to earn fifty caps, participating in the FIFA World Cup qualification campaigns of two thousand fourteen and two thousand eighteen, before retiring from international football in two thousand eighteen.

On November twenty-fifth, two thousand twenty-three, HJK announced that Hetemaj would conclude his professional playing career at the end of the season. He is set to embark on a new chapter as an assistant coach for their reserve team, Klubi 04, starting in two thousand twenty-four. His legacy as a club legend of HJK Helsinki remains firmly established.
