Perrine Leblanc

Perrine Leblanc is a talented Canadian writer hailing from Quebec, known for her compelling storytelling and unique voice in contemporary literature.

Her literary journey began with the debut novel, L'homme blanc, published in two thousand ten. The book garnered significant acclaim, winning the Grand prix du livre de Montréal in the same year, as well as the prestigious Governor General's Award for French-language fiction at the 2011 Governor General's Awards. Additionally, it triumphed in the 2011 edition of Le Combat des livres.

Leblanc's academic background includes studies at both the Université Laval and the Université de Montréal. Before her breakthrough as a novelist, she honed her skills as an editor with Éditions Leméac in Montreal. Following the success of L'homme blanc, a revised edition was released in France in two thousand eleven under the title Kolia.

In two thousand fourteen, she continued to captivate readers with her second novel, Malabourg, further establishing her presence in the literary world.
