Peter Christopherson

Peter Martin Christopherson, born on February twenty-seventh, nineteen fifty-five, was a multifaceted English artist whose talents spanned photography, music, and design. Known affectionately as Sleazy, he made significant contributions to the world of music and visual arts, leaving an indelible mark on each field he touched.

As a co-founder of the influential bands Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV, and Coil, Christopherson was at the forefront of the experimental music scene. His work with the design agency Hipgnosis further showcased his creative prowess, as he crafted iconic album covers that became synonymous with the music of the era.

In addition to his musical endeavors, Christopherson ventured into film, directing the short musical horror film Broken for Nine Inch Nails in nineteen ninety-three. This project highlighted his unique vision and ability to blend various artistic mediums.

In two thousand five, Christopherson relocated to Thailand, where he embraced a solo career under the moniker The Threshold HouseBoys Choir. This phase of his life allowed him to explore new artistic directions and further develop his distinctive style.
