Peter Iwers

Peter Iwers, born on May fifteenth, nineteen seventy-five, is a prominent Swedish musician known for his dynamic contributions to the melodic death metal scene. Currently, he serves as the bass player for The Halo Effect, a band that showcases his exceptional talent and passion for music.

Before his tenure with The Halo Effect, Iwers made a significant mark as a member of the influential heavy metal band In Flames. He joined the group during the recording of their acclaimed album Colony in nineteen ninety-nine and remained an integral part of the band until the release of their album Battles in two thousand sixteen. His arrival in In Flames came after he replaced Johan Larsson, who left the band following the release of Whoracle in nineteen ninety-seven.

In addition to his work with In Flames, Iwers was also the bassist for Cyhra, a project he undertook with former In Flames bandmate Jesper Strömblad from two thousand seventeen to two thousand eighteen. His musical journey began with a band called Chameleon, where he honed his skills and developed his unique style.
