Peter Løvenkrands

Peter Løvenkrands, born on January twenty-ninth, nineteen eighty, is a distinguished Danish football manager and former professional player. Renowned for his exceptional pace, he primarily played as a striker or winger throughout his career.

Løvenkrands commenced his football journey in Denmark, where he achieved notable success by winning the Danish Cup in nineteen ninety-nine with Akademisk Boldklub. His talent soon took him to Scotland, where he joined Rangers. During his six-year tenure at the club, he secured seven major honors, including two Scottish Premier League titles, solidifying his reputation in the sport.

In two thousand six, he made a move to Germany, signing with Schalke 04. However, his time there was marred by a decline in form, leading to a transfer to Newcastle United in the winter of two thousand eight. After three and a half seasons with the Magpies, he transitioned to Birmingham City, where he concluded his playing career at the end of the two thousand thirteen to fourteen season.

On the international stage, Løvenkrands was recognized as the Danish Under-19 Player of the Year in nineteen ninety-eight. He represented the Danish national team twenty-one times, scoring once, and participated in the prestigious 2002 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2004 tournaments.
