Peter van Inwagen

Peter van Inwagen, born on September twenty-first, nineteen forty-two, is a prominent American philosopher renowned for his contributions to contemporary metaphysics, philosophy of religion, and philosophy of action. He currently holds the esteemed position of John Cardinal O'Hara Professor of Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, where he inspires students with his profound insights into philosophical inquiry.

In addition to his role at Notre Dame, van Inwagen serves as a research professor of philosophy at Duke University each spring, further solidifying his influence in the academic community.
