Phạm Minh Chính

Phạm Minh Chính, born on December tenth, nineteen fifty-eight, is a prominent Vietnamese politician and civil servant who has made significant contributions to the country's governance. He served as the eighth Prime Minister of Vietnam from April two thousand twenty-one until two thousand twenty-six, ranking third in the Communist Party hierarchy after General Secretary Tô Lâm and President Lương Cường. His extensive career in public service includes holding the rank of Lieutenant General in the People's Public Security Forces.

Before ascending to the premiership, Chính held several key positions, including Head of the Party's Central Organizing Commission and Deputy Minister of Public Security. His leadership in Quảng Ninh province as Party Secretary from two thousand eleven to two thousand fifteen showcased his capabilities in regional governance. Additionally, he was a member of the Politburo since two thousand sixteen and served as Vice Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council of Vietnam.

Chính's academic credentials are impressive; he holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, a Doctor of Law, and an Advanced Degree in Political Theory, along with the academic rank of Associate Professor in National Security Studies.
