Phạm Minh Mẫn, born on March fifth, nineteen thirty-four, is a distinguished Vietnamese Catholic prelate who has made significant contributions to the Church in Vietnam. His journey in the ecclesiastical hierarchy saw him rise to the esteemed position of Archbishop of Ho Chi Minh City, a role he held from nineteen ninety-eight until two thousand fourteen.
Before his tenure as Archbishop, Mẫn served as the Coadjutor Bishop of Mỹ Tho from nineteen ninety-three to nineteen ninety-eight. His leadership and dedication to the Catholic community were evident during this period, laying the groundwork for his later responsibilities.
