Phạm Tuân

Phạm Tuân, born on February fourteenth, nineteen forty-seven, is a distinguished retired Vietnamese Air Force fighter pilot and cosmonaut. His remarkable journey in aviation and space exploration has made him a prominent figure in both military and scientific communities.

As the first Vietnamese cosmonaut, Phạm Tuân achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first person of Asian descent to venture into space. He accomplished this feat aboard the Soyuz thirty-seven mission, where he served as an Interkosmos research cosmonaut, contributing to international scientific collaboration.
