Phil Foden

Phil Foden, born on May 28, 2000, is an English professional footballer who has made a significant impact in the world of football as a midfielder for Premier League club Manchester City and the England national team. A product of Manchester City's esteemed youth academy, Foden's rise to prominence began in 2017 when he was awarded the FIFA U-17 World Cup Golden Ball, following England's triumphant campaign in the tournament.

Foden made his professional debut for Manchester City in the same year and quickly garnered attention, being named the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year in December. Since then, he has accumulated over three hundred appearances for the club, contributing to an impressive tally of seventeen honours, including a historic continental treble in the 2022–23 season. Notably, he became the youngest player to receive a Premier League winner's medal in 2018.

In 2019, Foden achieved another milestone by becoming Manchester City's youngest-ever goalscorer in the UEFA Champions League. He also holds the distinction of being the youngest English player to start and score in the knockout stages of the competition.
