Philip Selway

Philip Selway, born on May 23, 1967, is an accomplished English musician renowned for his role as the drummer of the iconic rock band Radiohead. His unique style blends traditional rock drumming with electronic percussion, showcasing his versatility and innovation in the music industry.

In 2019, Selway's contributions to music were recognized when he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Radiohead. Throughout the 2000s, he collaborated with fellow musicians, including Radiohead guitarist Ed O'Brien, as part of the 7 Worlds Collide project, further expanding his artistic horizons.

Selway ventured into solo artistry with the release of his debut album, Familial, in 2010, which featured a collection of folk music. This was followed by his second album, Weatherhouse, in 2014, and his latest work, Strange Dance, released in 2023. His creative talents also extend to film, as he composed the soundtrack for the 2017 movie Let Me Go.

In 2023, Selway continued to showcase his drumming prowess by performing with the band Lanterns on the Lake, further solidifying his status as a dynamic and influential figure in contemporary music.
