Philippe Montanier

Philippe Montanier, born on November fifteenth, nineteen sixty-four, is a distinguished French football manager and former player, currently serving as the head coach of Ligue 2 club AS Saint-Étienne. His playing career was marked by his role as a goalkeeper, where he honed his skills and understanding of the game.

As a manager, Montanier has made significant contributions to several clubs in Ligue 2, notably leading Boulogne and Toulouse to promotion, with the latter achieving the title of champions in two thousand twenty-two. His expertise also extended to Ligue 1, where he managed teams such as Valenciennes, Rennes, and Toulouse, reaching the Coupe de France final with Rennes in two thousand fourteen and clinching the trophy with Toulouse in two thousand twenty-three.
