Phumtham Wechayachai

Phumtham Wechayachai, born on December fifth, nineteen fifty-three, is a prominent Thai politician, businessperson, and researcher. His political career has seen him take on significant roles, including serving as the acting Prime Minister of Thailand during critical transitional periods in July and August of twenty twenty-four and September of twenty twenty-five.

In addition to his role as acting Prime Minister, Wechayachai has held various ministerial positions. He served as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce in the Srettha cabinet, showcasing his expertise in economic matters. Later, in the Paetongtarn cabinet, he transitioned to the role of Minister of Defence, further demonstrating his versatility in governance.
