Pia Sundhage

Pia Sundhage, born on February thirteenth, nineteen sixty, is a distinguished Swedish football manager and former player, currently at the helm of the Haiti national team. Throughout her playing career, she primarily excelled as a forward, ultimately retiring as the all-time top scorer for the Sweden national team.

Her coaching career took off when she became the head coach of the United States national team from two thousand eight to two thousand twelve. Under her leadership, the team achieved remarkable success, securing two Olympic gold medals and a silver medal at the World Cup. This impressive track record earned her the prestigious title of FIFA World Coach of the Year in two thousand twelve.
