Picabo Street

Picabo Street, born on April third, nineteen seventy-one, is a celebrated American former World Cup alpine ski racer and an Olympic gold medalist. Her remarkable career is highlighted by her victory in the super G at the nineteen ninety-eight Winter Olympics, showcasing her exceptional talent on the slopes.

In addition to her Olympic success, Street achieved a significant milestone by winning the downhill event at the nineteen ninety-six World Championships. Throughout her career, she earned a total of three Olympic and World Championship medals, solidifying her status as one of the sport's greats.

Street made history as the first American woman to win World Cup downhill season titles in nineteen ninety-five and nineteen ninety-six. Her impressive record includes nine World Cup downhill race wins, a testament to her skill and determination.
