Pierre Gasly

Pierre Gasly, born on February seventh, nineteen ninety-six, is a prominent French racing driver currently competing in Formula One for the Alpine team. Hailing from Normandy, Gasly's passion for motorsport ignited at the tender age of ten when he began kart racing. His journey through the ranks of competitive racing saw him graduate to junior formulae in two thousand eleven, where he made a notable impact by finishing third in the French F4 Championship with the FFSA Academy.

Gasly's career took a significant leap forward in two thousand thirteen when he clinched his first championship title in the Formula Renault Eurocup with Tech 1. He continued to ascend the motorsport ladder, winning the GP2 Series championship in two thousand sixteen with Prema, amidst a fierce title battle against Antonio Giovinazzi. The following year, he showcased his talent in Super Formula, finishing as the runner-up to Hiroaki Ishiura, and made his debut in Formula E at the New York City ePrix for Renault e.dams.

A member of the Red Bull Junior Team since two thousand fourteen, Gasly made his Formula One debut with Toro Rosso at the Malaysian Grand Prix in two thousand seventeen, stepping in for Daniil Kvyat. He became a full-time driver for Toro Rosso in two thousand eighteen and was promoted to the parent team, Red Bull, in two thousand nineteen. Although he faced a setback after being demoted post-Hungarian Grand Prix, he achieved his maiden podium at the Brazilian Grand Prix that same year with Toro Rosso.

In two thousand twenty, Gasly celebrated a remarkable victory at the Italian Grand Prix while driving for the rebranded AlphaTauri, further solidifying his reputation in the sport. He continued to impress with a third podium finish at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in two thousand twenty-one. For the two thousand twenty-three season, Gasly transitioned to Alpine, where he scored his first podium for the team at the Dutch Grand Prix and repeated this success at the rain-affected São Paulo Grand Prix in two thousand twenty-four. As of the two thousand twenty-six Japanese Grand Prix, Gasly has achieved one race win, three fastest laps, and five podiums in Formula One, with a contract to remain at Alpine until at least the end of the two thousand twenty-eight season.
