Pierre Nantel

Pierre Nantel, born on June tenth, nineteen sixty-three, is a notable Canadian politician and former member of the House of Commons. He first entered the political arena in the two thousand eleven federal election, representing the New Democratic Party (NDP) in the Longueuil—Pierre-Boucher district, succeeding Jean Dorion of the Bloc Québécois. His political journey continued as he was reelected in the two thousand fifteen election for the newly redistributed riding of Longueuil—Saint-Hubert.

Before his political career, Nantel made a name for himself as a researcher and television commentator, with a significant role at Radio-Canada television.
