Pierre Nguyễn Văn Nhơn

Pierre Nguyễn Văn Nhơn, born on April first, nineteen thirty-eight, is a distinguished Vietnamese prelate of the Catholic Church. He held the esteemed position of Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Hanoi from May two thousand ten until November two thousand eighteen. His leadership and dedication to the Church have left a significant impact on the Catholic community in Vietnam.

In February two thousand fifteen, he was elevated to the rank of cardinal, a testament to his unwavering commitment and service. Prior to his role in Hanoi, he served as the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Đà Lạt from nineteen ninety-four to two thousand ten, where he was instrumental in fostering spiritual growth and community engagement.

Additionally, from two thousand seven to two thousand thirteen, Cardinal Nhơn served as the President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Vietnam.
