Pierre Samson

Pierre Samson, a distinguished Canadian writer, was born in Montreal, Quebec, in nineteen fifty-eight. His literary journey took a significant turn when he relocated to Toronto, Ontario, in nineteen ninety-five, where he penned his debut novel, Messie de Belém. This marked the beginning of a prolific writing career that would see him return to his roots in Montreal.

Upon his return, Samson published his second novel, Un garçon de compagnie (A Boy of Company), further establishing his reputation in the literary world. All of his novels have been published by Editions Les Herbes Rouges, a testament to his enduring partnership with this esteemed publishing house.

In addition to his work as a novelist, Samson has made significant contributions to the world of screenwriting. Collaborating with Richard Blaimert, he co-wrote the popular Radio-Canada television show Cover Girl in two thousand five. His versatility as a writer is also evident in his regular contributions to the Montreal newspaper Le Devoir, where he shares his insights and perspectives with a broader audience.
