Pierre Turgeon

Pierre Turgeon, born on August 28, 1969, is a distinguished Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player. His remarkable journey in the National Hockey League began when he was selected first overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft, marking the start of an illustrious career.

Throughout his time in the NHL, Turgeon showcased his exceptional skills while playing for several teams, including the Buffalo Sabres, New York Islanders, Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, Dallas Stars, and Colorado Avalanche. His versatility and talent on the ice made him a formidable opponent and a valuable teammate.

Notably, Turgeon is one of only forty-eight players in NHL history to have reached the impressive milestone of scoring five hundred goals. His contributions to the sport have not gone unnoticed, culminating in his induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame on November 13, 2023.
