Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Pimp C

Chad Lamont Butler, known to the world as Pimp C, was born on December 29, 1973, and became a prominent figure in the American hip-hop scene. As a rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer, he gained fame as one half of the influential duo Underground Kingz (UGK), alongside Bun B. Their partnership was marked by a unique blend of Southern hip-hop that resonated with fans and critics alike.

In 1992, Pimp C and Bun B signed with Jive Records, leading to the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, Too Hard to Swallow. This was followed by the successful albums Super Tight in 1994 and Ridin' Dirty in 1996, both of which made significant impacts on the Billboard 200. Their collaboration reached new heights when they featured on Jay-Z's hit single 'Big Pimpin'' in 2000, which peaked at number eighteen on the Billboard Hot 100.

However, Pimp C's career faced a setback when he was sentenced to eight years in prison for a probation violation, leading to a hiatus for UGK in the early 2000s. During this time, he pursued a solo career, releasing The Sweet James Jones Stories in 2005, which included tracks recorded before his incarceration. After his release in December 2005, he continued to make music, launching his second solo album, Pimpalation, in 2006.

In 2007, UGK released their self-titled fifth studio album, which featured the single 'International Players Anthem (I Choose You)' with OutKast, reaching number seventy on the Billboard Hot 100. Tragically, Pimp C's life was cut short when he was found dead in his hotel room on December 4, 2007. A coroner's report indicated that his death was due to complications from his heavy consumption of lean and pre-existing sleep apnea.
