Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Pita Limjaroenrat

Pita Limjaroenrat, born on September 5, 1980, is a multifaceted Thai businessman and politician, known for his leadership of the Move Forward Party from 2020 to 2023. Nicknamed Tim, he has made significant contributions to Thai politics, particularly as a member of the House of Representatives from 2019 to 2024. His journey began with a solid educational foundation, having studied finance in Thailand and furthering his studies in politics and business in the United States.

Upon returning to Thailand in 2005, Pita took the reins of his family's rice bran oil company, successfully establishing its market presence. His political career took off when he was invited to join the Future Forward Party as a party-list candidate for the 2019 general election, where he won a seat in the House of Representatives. Following the dissolution of Future Forward in 2020, he was appointed as the leader of the newly formed Move Forward Party.

Under Pita's leadership, the Move Forward Party emerged as the largest party in the 2023 general election, securing one hundred fifty-one seats. He aimed to form a coalition with pro-democracy parties to pursue the prime ministership of Thailand. However, his initial bid for the position was thwarted by a lack of support from the Senate, and he faced suspension as an MP due to legal challenges regarding shares in a defunct broadcaster.

Despite these setbacks, Pita remained active in politics, resigning as leader of Move Forward in September 2023 but continuing to influence the party's direction. In January 2024, he was cleared of wrongdoing by the Constitutional Court, reaffirming his role in the House of Representatives. However, the Move Forward Party was disbanded in August 2024, leading Pita to support its reincarnation as the People's Party. He is currently pursuing a fellowship at Harvard Kennedy School, furthering his commitment to public service and leadership.
