Pius Adesanmi

Pius Adesanmi was a distinguished Nigerian-born Canadian academic, celebrated for his contributions as a journalist, university teacher, and writer. Born on February twenty-seventh, nineteen seventy-two, he carved a niche for himself in the literary world with his sharp wit and insightful commentary.

Among his notable works is 'Naija No Dey Carry Last,' a collection of satirical essays published in two thousand fifteen. This book showcases his unique ability to blend humor with critical social commentary, reflecting the complexities of Nigerian society and culture.

Tragically, Adesanmi's life was cut short on March tenth, two thousand nineteen, when he lost his life in the Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 crash shortly after take-off.
