Lontrell Denell Williams Jr., known to the world as Pooh Shiesty, was born on November 8, 1999, in Memphis, Tennessee. His stage name, a blend of his childhood nickname 'Mr. Pooh' and the slang term 'shiesty', was bestowed upon him by his late brother, reflecting a lifestyle that resonates deeply within his music.

In 2020, Pooh Shiesty made a significant mark in the music industry after signing with Gucci Mane's 1017 Records, an imprint of Atlantic Records. His collaborations with the label's founder and fellow artists propelled him into the spotlight, particularly with his hit single 'Back in Blood', featuring Lil Durk, which soared to number thirteen on the Billboard Hot 100.
