Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Pop Smoke

Bashar Barakah Jackson, known to the world as Pop Smoke, was born on July 20, 1999, in Brooklyn, New York City. He emerged as a prominent figure in the music industry, particularly in the rap genre, with his distinctive sound that blended elements of UK drill and American hip-hop. His breakthrough came in 2019 with the release of hit singles like 'Welcome to the Party' and 'Dior', which showcased his unique style and lyrical prowess.

In April 2019, after gaining significant attention, Pop Smoke was introduced to record producer Rico Beats, who facilitated a meeting with Steven Victor. This connection led to a recording contract with Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records. His debut mixtape, 'Meet the Woo', was released in July 2019, setting the stage for his rapid ascent in the music scene.

Pop Smoke's second mixtape, 'Meet the Woo 2', was launched on February 7, 2020, and it debuted at number seven on the Billboard 200, marking his first top-10 project in the United States. Tragically, just twelve days after its release, he was murdered during a home invasion in Los Angeles, a loss that shocked fans and the music community alike.

Following his untimely death, his posthumous debut studio album, 'Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon', was executive produced by fellow New York rapper 50 Cent. The album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200, with all 19 tracks making it onto the Billboard Hot 100. It included popular singles such as 'For the Night' featuring DaBaby and Lil Baby, and 'What You Know Bout Love'. In 2021, Republic Records released his second studio album, 'Faith', further solidifying his legacy in the music industry.
