Prince Charles of Hesse and by Rhine

Born on April twenty-third, eighteen oh nine, Prince Charles of Hesse and by Rhine emerged as a notable figure in German aristocracy. He was the second surviving son of Louis II, Grand Duke of Hesse, and Wilhelmine of Baden, which positioned him within a prominent lineage.
