Princess Luisa of Naples and Sicily

Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Princess Luisa of Naples and Sicily

Princess Luisa of Naples and Sicily, born on July twenty-seventh, seventeen seventy-three, was an illustrious aristocrat who held the title of Grand Duchess of Tuscany through her marriage to Ferdinand III, Grand Duke of Tuscany. She was the daughter of Ferdinand I of the Two Sicilies and Maria Carolina of Austria, embodying the rich heritage of European royalty.

Her life took a dramatic turn after eleven years of marriage when the couple was reluctantly forced into exile following the Treaty of Aranjuez in eighteen hundred and one. This upheaval led them to Vienna, Austria, where they sought refuge for nearly a year.

During their time in exile, Ferdinand was eventually compensated with the Electorate of Salzburg, which granted him titles and land. Tragically, Princess Luisa's life was cut short at the young age of twenty-nine, passing away before her husband could reclaim his throne.
