Princess Mabel of Orange-Nassau

Princess Mabel of Orange-Nassau, born Mabel Martine Los on August eleventh, nineteen sixty-eight, is a prominent Dutch humanitarian and economist. She is widely recognized as the widow of Prince Friso and the sister-in-law of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands. Her commitment to human rights and social justice has led her to co-found several influential organizations, including War Child Netherlands, the European Council on Foreign Relations, and Girls Not Brides: The Global Partnership to End Child Marriage.

In her distinguished career, Princess Mabel served as the inaugural Chief Executive Officer of The Elders, a group established by Nelson Mandela and chaired by Kofi Annan. Her leadership in this role underscored her dedication to global peace and human rights advocacy.

In recognition of her impactful work, the World Economic Forum honored her as a Young Global Leader in two thousand five. She continues to lend her expertise as an advisor to various non-profits, including the Coalition for the International Criminal Court, the Malala Fund, Crisis Action, and the Open Society Foundations, further solidifying her role as a key figure in the fight for social justice.
