Priscah Jeptoo, born on June twenty-six, nineteen eighty-four, is a distinguished Kenyan professional long-distance runner renowned for her exceptional marathon performances. Specializing in the marathon, she has made her mark by clinching victories in prestigious races across the globe, including New York, Paris, Turin, and London.

With a personal best time of two hours, twenty minutes, and fourteen seconds, Jeptoo has consistently demonstrated her prowess on the track. Her remarkable talent was showcased on the world stage when she secured the runner-up position in the marathon at the World Championships in Athletics in two thousand eleven and again at the two thousand twelve London Olympics.
