Qahhor Mahkamov

In November nineteen ninety, Mahkamov ascended to the role of the first President of Tajikistan, marking a historic moment in the nation's journey towards independence. His presidency, however, was short-lived, as he faced a dramatic fall during the August nineteen ninety-one coup.
