Qasim ibn Muhammad, born in the year five hundred ninety-eight, was the firstborn son of the esteemed Prophet Muhammad and his wife Khadija bint Khuwaylid. His brief life, though marked by profound significance, lasted only until the age of three.
Tragically, Qasim passed away in the year six hundred one, prior to the pivotal moment when his father would declare his prophethood in six hundred nine. His early departure from this world left a lasting impact on his family and the community.
Buried in the revered Jannat al-Mu'alla cemetery in Mecca, Qasim's resting place is a testament to his lineage. Historical accounts, including those by Ibn Majah, indicate that he died before reaching the age of weaning, a poignant reminder of the fragility of life.
