Queen Mary of Denmark

Queen Mary of Denmark, born on February fifth, nineteen seventy-two, is a prominent figure in the Danish monarchy as the wife of King Frederik X. Her journey into royal life began when she met Frederik, then the Crown Prince of Denmark, during the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. Their love story culminated in a beautiful wedding at Copenhagen Cathedral on May fourteenth, two thousand four.

As a queen consort, Mary has embraced her royal duties with grace and dedication. She is a devoted mother to four children: Christian, Isabella, Vincent, and Josephine. Since her marriage, she has actively participated in numerous engagements on behalf of the Danish monarchy, showcasing her commitment to public service.

Mary is also a passionate advocate for various charitable causes, serving as the patron of over thirty organizations, including the United Nations Population Fund and the Danish Refugee Council. In two thousand seven, she founded the Mary Foundation, furthering her philanthropic efforts.
