Radosław Sikorski

Radosław Sikorski, born on February twenty-third, nineteen sixty-three, is a prominent Polish politician and statesman currently serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs since two thousand twenty-three. His political career is marked by significant roles, including his previous tenure as Minister of Foreign Affairs from two thousand seven to two thousand fourteen and as Deputy Prime Minister starting in two thousand twenty-five.

Before his current positions, Sikorski was a Member of the European Parliament from two thousand nineteen to two thousand twenty-three and served as the Marshal of the Sejm from two thousand fourteen to two thousand fifteen. His early political career included roles as Deputy Minister of National Defence in nineteen ninety-two, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs from nineteen ninety-eight to two thousand one, and Minister of National Defence from two thousand five to two thousand seven.

A graduate of Pembroke College, Oxford, Sikorski began his career as a journalist, contributing to The Observer and The Spectator between nineteen eighty-six and nineteen eighty-nine. His experience as a war correspondent in Afghanistan and Angola further shaped his perspective on global affairs. He is also known for his involvement with the Bilderberg Group and the American Enterprise Institute.

In two thousand twelve, Sikorski was recognized as one of the Top One Hundred Global Thinkers by Foreign Policy magazine. His academic contributions continued as he became a Senior Fellow at Harvard University's Center for European Studies in two thousand fifteen and an Honorary Fellow at Pembroke College in two thousand twenty-five. He is actively engaged with the European Leadership Network and is a member of the Civic Coalition, where he is associated with the party's right wing.
