Raffi Cavoukian, known simply as Raffi, was born on July 8, 1948, in Egypt to Armenian parents. He later moved to Canada, where he became a beloved figure in children's music. His engaging melodies and heartfelt lyrics have made him a household name, earning him the title of 'the most popular children's singer in the English-speaking world' according to The Washington Post in 1992.

Throughout his illustrious career, Raffi has embraced the role of a 'global troubadour,' expanding his influence beyond music to become a music producer, author, and entrepreneur.
