Ralph Krueger, born on August thirty-first, nineteen fifty-nine, is a distinguished Canadian-born German ice hockey coach and former player. His extensive career in the National Hockey League (NHL) includes notable positions as the head coach of the Edmonton Oilers and the Buffalo Sabres. Beyond the rink, Krueger has made significant contributions to the world of football, serving as the chairman of Southampton Football Club.

From the 1997–98 season until the conclusion of the XXI Olympic Winter Games in 2010, Krueger was at the helm of the Swiss men's national ice hockey team. His coaching journey in the NHL continued with the Edmonton Oilers during the challenging 2012–13 season. In recognition of his contributions to the sport, he was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in two thousand twenty-six.

In two thousand fourteen, Krueger transitioned from ice hockey to association football, taking on the role of director for the English Premier League team Southampton. His leadership skills were further acknowledged when he was appointed chairman of Southampton F.C. on March twelfth, two thousand fourteen. After a successful tenure, he departed from the club in April two thousand nineteen to return to his roots in hockey.
