Ram Nath Kovind

Ram Nath Kovind, born on October first, nineteen forty-five, is a distinguished Indian politician and lawyer who made history by serving as the President of India from two thousand seventeen to two thousand twenty-two. His tenure marked a significant milestone as he became the first individual from Uttar Pradesh and the first member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to hold this esteemed position.

Before ascending to the presidency, Kovind held the office of Governor of Bihar from two thousand fifteen to two thousand seventeen. His political journey also includes serving as a Member of Rajya Sabha, representing Uttar Pradesh for two consecutive terms, where he contributed to various legislative initiatives.
