Raphaël Bedros XXI Minassian

Patriarch Raphaël Bedros XXI Minassian, born on November twenty-fourth, nineteen forty-six, is a distinguished Lebanese-born Armenian hierarch. He holds the esteemed position of the twenty-first patriarch of the Armenian Catholic Church, a role that underscores his significant contributions to the faith and community.

Before ascending to the patriarchate, he served as the ordinary of the Ordinariate for Catholics of Armenian Rite in Eastern Europe from June twenty-fourth, two thousand eleven, to September twenty-third, two thousand twenty-one. His leadership during this period was marked by a commitment to the spiritual and pastoral needs of the Armenian Catholic community across Armenia, Georgia, Russia, and Ukraine.

Additionally, from September twenty-sixth, two thousand five, to June twenty-fourth, two thousand eleven, he was the Patriarchal Exarch of the Armenian Catholic Patriarchal Exarchate of Jerusalem and Amman.
