Raphaël Wicky

Raphaël Wicky, born on April twenty-sixth, nineteen seventy-seven, is a distinguished Swiss football coach and former professional player. Currently, he serves as the head coach for Sporting Kansas City in Major League Soccer, where he continues to make his mark in the world of football.

Wicky's playing career was predominantly spent in the German Bundesliga, where he showcased his talents with clubs such as Werder Bremen and Hamburg. He also had a brief stint in Spain's Segunda División with Atlético Madrid. Over the course of his international career, he earned seventy-five caps for the Swiss national team from nineteen ninety-six to two thousand eight, participating in two European Championships and the two thousand six FIFA World Cup.
