Rasoul Khadem, born on March 18, 1972, is a distinguished figure in the world of wrestling and politics. A former Iranian wrestler, he achieved remarkable success on the international stage, securing a bronze medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics and a gold medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics. His prowess in the sport was further highlighted by his victories as the world champion in 1994 and 1995, as well as being crowned the Asian champion multiple times from 1991 to 1996.
Khadem's journey in wrestling was significantly influenced by his father, Mohammad Khadem, who was instrumental in his training. He comes from a family of accomplished wrestlers, being the younger brother of Olympic bronze medalists Amir Reza Khadem and Ebrahim Khadem.
